TAKE YOUR TIME!

 When looking for a puppy please don't buy from a "backyard" breeder,pet store or a "puppy mill" breeder! Don't look for breeders in the newspapers etc. as responsible,good,breeders get referrals from other good breeders and their breed clubs.Beware of breeders whom have "multiple" breeds.Its not unusual for a breeder to have two different breeds,but more then two should send out a "red flag" warning! Also beware of breeders who have 3 or more litters at a time,YIKES!

 A reputable breeder will ask questions as to where your puppy will live etc. They are not being "nosey" or "snoopy" just concerned for their carefully bred ,puppy's welfare!

  A reputable breeder always breeds with the purpose of producing puppies with the best health ,temperament and meets if not exceeds, the breeds standard.

 Remember  THE AKC is just a registering organization.AKC registration papers do not guarantee quality,only that the pups parents were also registered.It is up to you as a consumer to do your "homework" when deciding where to get your puppy ! Beware of people who do not health test or tell you"we have no health problems in our lines" or"the vet said the parents are healthy"THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE HEALTH TESTING! Be willing to wait for the right puppy from the right breeder! NEVER BUY IN HASTE!
